The Tell-Tale Break-off Check Valve is a unique wet barrel hydrant innovation. When a wet barrel hydrant is hit and broken off, the Tell-Tale check valve shuts, preventing the loss of water and water pressure. In addition, it provides a visible “tell-tale” low-volume stream of water to indicate that the hydrant has been damaged, yet does not present a serious loss of water or cause damage.
